An influential role for a job evaluation and pension specialist with vision and insight
AkzoNobel creates everyday essentials to make people’s lives more livable and inspiring. As a leading global paints and coatings company, we supply essential ingredients, essential protection and essential color to industries and consumers worldwide.
The “Rewards” Center of Expertise in Arnhem is responsible for the working environment and employee benefits which form part of our overall commitment to attracting and retaining employees who will contribute to continuously improving our results. Our aim is to be among the top employers in the Netherlands and the world at large.
Is this a challenge that matches your profile as a professional with experience in job evaluation and pensions? Could you take responsibility for a pension scheme on behalf of thousands of employees? Could you work with multiple stakeholders to evaluate the rewards for those employees? Above all, do you have the ambition and flexibility to make a real difference within our dynamic, multinational and multicultural business environment?
The role and its responsibilities
Alongside your pension responsibilities you will also take responsibility for our Job Evaluation in the Netherlands using an ORBA based reference system or Job Family Modeling (JFM) from Hay. This will cover all levels except executive grading. You will also be project leader for international job evaluation projects and, in conjunction with Talent Management/HR, develop career paths for RD&I.
Lastly, you will play a key role in determining employee remuneration. In particular, you will advise on pay issues and assume overall responsibility for the yearly salary review in the Netherlands. Additionally you will investigate and develop premium pay structures in The Netherlands while benchmarking salaries/total cash internally and externally.
