We are currently looking for the right person to join our Purchasing department as a:

Manager Operational Purchasing (m/f)

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Managing the operational purchasing process to meet annual saving objectives
  • Leading the operational purchasing team
  • Establishing and implementing purchasing strategies, contract management instructions, policies and procedures
  • Developing relationships with all key suppliers to align supplier’s strategies with IEE’s focus on total cost of ownership and CIP
  • Evaluating and selecting suppliers
  • Being responsible to negotiate robust supply contracts for the company
  • Being responsible for the direct/indirect material budget
  • Acting as the single point of contact for one Business Line
  • Developing and maintaining an excellent understanding of the SAP MM module and manage the PR to PO process
  • Monitoring KPIs and executing the monthly reporting

You would need to meet the following requirements:

  • An academic degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • A minimum of 5 years purchasing management experience in an automotive environment
  • Outstanding leadership, communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills and a solid understanding of automotive business drivers
  • Demonstrated relationship building, interpersonal and social skills
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management required
  • A good knowledge of SAP software and Microsoft Office tools
  • High level of flexibility and an effective team player
  • Written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory; German and/or French are strong assets
