People Services Specialists, Europe

Reporting to the Regional People Services Manager, we are looking for talented HR professionals to join our European People Services team (country support depending on language skills). HR at IDEXX has gone through significant transformation in the last 2 years, moving from a generalist model to a specialist model comprised of HR Business Partnering, People Services (HR Administration) & COE’s (e.g. Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development). In addition to the model change, we have also gone live with the core module of Workday in October so upgrading our HR Information System which in turn now necessitates a different engagement between our People Services team and the business. And we will continue to build out Workday in the next 1-2 years so that we have a complete end to end HRIS ecosystem within IDEXX.

At our European HQ in the Netherlands, we support +15 countries and have the largest representation of centralized HR support sitting here alongside the regional management, and with an HQ employee population of circa 500 in NL and 2000 across Europe. From the Netherlands, you will have the opportunity to engage in multiple market support in relation to all HR administrative topics (contracts, absence management, new appointment letters, data entry).

We are looking for HR talent with a solid first experience within HR Administration / People Services. You should feel comfortable in a shared service set up where you will provide specialist support to different markets. To be successful in this, you should speak multiple European languages and have previously extended support to different countries, building your familiarity with local legislative implications on the HR administrative space. Our geographic reach extends from UK & Nordics, across South Europe (IT, SP, FR), BENELUX, CEE (CZ, SK, PL, RU) and DACH cluster, so if you bring fluency in English and 1-2 additional European languages, this will be an advantage. You should feel comfortable working within our HR operating model, so you should have an ease in understanding the interdependencies between the different specialist areas within HR, including handover of duties, SLA’s and how to maximize the engagement within HR to get the best support to the business. You need to bring best practice, but not be afraid to come into an organization where you will still need to contribute to building this out.
